My Poetry - Serenity

I'm a witch

I'm a bitch

I'm the one that makes you twitch

With my wokeness

And my progress

I will never acquiesce

I will rise

I will strive

To bring light into the dark

Through the pain

Through the muck

I'm the firefly with a spark

Light a flame

Upon my pyre

And try to silence my words

But I will smile

My eyes like fire

A big damn hero in the 'verse

Your holy cleansing

Your cultist faith

You're the congregants of darkness

You will reap

What you sow

And I'll be there to watch it

I am powerful

And I'm weak

Yet I have found serenity

So try your best

You will fail

You can't take the sky from me

I got the inspiration for the last part from the TV show Firefly. But this goes out to all the haters, the Trumpers, the evangelical christians, the ones that try to drag me down by their hatred.
